Besides the planet called Heaven where God dwells (Gen.21:17; 22:11, 15; 2 Cor.12:1-3; Deut.26:15; 1 Kings.8:30, 38, 43, 49) there are two other spheres called Heaven. Paul speaks of three heavens (2 Cor.12:1-3). The third Heaven is here called the paradise where God lives. The other two heavens are: the clouds (Gen.1:8; 7:23; 8:2; Job.38:9, 34: Isa.14:14; Jer.51:16) and the starry space between the Earth and the planet Heaven (Gen.1:15-20; 22:17; Isa.14:12-14; Ps.8:3)...........Joey.

I prefer to attempt to leave my reasoning out of the equation when it comes to the scriptures.

The reason is the Bible says it and I prefer not ask God what His reason is.

However, I give you an answer more on the order of which you are looking for.

The custom was that the eldest male son inherited everything. There are occaisional exceptions and scripture explains the few exceptions that there were. For example Cain was disinherited and Seth recieved the inheritance.

The eldest descendants of Adam are traced in the Bible to Abraham and from Abraham to the Israelites.

The Israelites are the heirs to Adam`s estate which is the earth. That is the simple answer to your question.

Just a few verses to look at:

Galatians 23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh ; but he of the freewoman was by promise

Galatians29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
"Israel is my son, even my firstborn" Exodus 4:22.

That`s a great question Rodger. I`ve never really thought about along this line.

Isaac was born after the flesh of course and there are promises of God that pertain to this life for the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Isaac`s birth also carries this tremendous spiritual significance for all of God`s people. It has nothing to do with Isaac himself but it is his birth that fulfilled God`s covenant promise to Abraham. Isaac is the firstborn child of God for Abraham`s family and he is the prototype for all of us who have came afterward.

When are adopted into the household of God we enter in at Isaac`s generation and we are all Isaac`s equal in the eyes of God. Paul drives this fact home in Galatians chapters 3 and 4. Both chapters really need to carefully be studied in their entirity to get the picture Paul is painting.

Gentile Christians often fret, dispute and even covet the promises God has made to the descendants of Jacob. But those things are insignificant in comparison to the inheritence we have by becoming directly adopted as heirs in God`s household alongside Isaac.

By adoption we predate Jacob and are sons of Abraham at the Isaac generation. That is what makes us free of the obligation to practice the Mount Sinai covenant. And without this new heritage we have in Christ there is nothing in the Bible to justify Gentile disregard for various aspects of the law that we ignore.

Would the morning star (sun) be Heaven?

I mean to say "born of spirit" as Adam was, as Adam lost the Holy Spirit,
As God walked with Israel as he walked with Adam. And Israel became the son of God even the first born.
First the Jews then The Gentiles in all due respect as I understand by adoption we predate Jacob and are sons of Abraham.

I don`t believe it can be shown Bibically that Adam had the Holy Spirit. When the Bible says Adam became a living soul I believe scripture is refering to the inner man, the spirit man that lives on after death.

Being born of the Spirit is a New Testament thing. Christ had to come before that could happen.
