Thanks Rodgertutt, I have posted that he is the light that lights all who enter the world. Could this be pre-birth or at the point of birth? Has there been a time we do not remember when we were exposed to the light of Jesus in some way. There are many scriptures we ought to meditate on more, for instance,1 cor 7;14. How do we sanctify our children, how are they holy, through our belief in Jesus?. It does not say anything about an age of responsibility and our children are always our children. Dave

Rodgertutt, your comments on the salvation of children is interesting and challenging it does not answer my question about the light or even address it. Perhaps I did not explain it clearly enough. The light which lights, Jesus, are we somehow given the light before birth and later in life, could be much later, accept the truth or in some way accepted when shown the light. I do not wish to be hard on you Rodgerbutt in this as you saw the question in a different way in which I posed it. Dave.

13 hours ago I came to the thread on the personal work of the Holy Spirit and posted a reply to Rick.
There was at that time 4 pages of discussion on that thread.
Since then two whole pages of discussions have been eliminated.
I noticed a few days ago that something I posted there one night disappeared by the next morning.

I can only assume that if Rick disagrees with somebody he spits the dummy and deletes their posts. After all he is the only one who has the power of deletion of someone else's posts.

Hence I will probably not continue on this list. It is not free and open discussion - it a vehicle for Rick's ideas and that is it.

I don't understand why this happen's , why so complex in many words, arn't we
born again in Christ and have the same spirit? Why doe's the carnel mind take over at times? carn't we reason together in understanding where each other is coming from? instead of being ignorant which leads to arrogance.
Or just agree to disagree and move onto the next subject.

Yes, in debate there will be times when we both infuriate and are infuriated sometimes through coming from differant angles. We ought to be able as Rodger says to be able to agree to disagree. No of us is perfect yet, hope that does not set someone off, will be in heaven. Let's streach out the hands of acceptance, friendship and love. John stay with us. Dave.

You can`t have things both ways . You posted your piece in the debate forum and then you say that you don`t want to debate about it. LOL! Then you claim that you want to have critique, discussion and clarification. But I guess what you really mean is you only want to discuss and clarify as long as no one is pointing out the error in your doctrine and it appears that you expect to be the one who does the clarifying.

Then when the going gets tough, you decide that you aren`t going to debate to a conclusion. Which is fine except that being the case then you shouldn`t whine because I deleted a debate that you don`t care to finish.

As far as the sight being free I don`t know where you got the idea that the site is free for every religious opinion under the sun. Site management always reserves the right to place limitations on apostate views.

We are interested in promoting the gospel of Christ and we will leave the promoting of other gospels for other web sites. We certainly will not be accomodating to replacement theology which is heresy.
