| The bible clearly teaches that Jesus Christ of Nazareth was ressurected I am not ready to debate (LOL) but let me quote someone who is..and we can take it from there!!! Question: "Is the resurrection of Jesus Christ true?" Answer: Scripture presents conclusive evidence that Jesus Christ was in fact resurrected from the dead. Christ’s resurrection is recorded in Matthew 28:1-20; Mark 16:1-20; Luke 24:1-53; and John 20:1-21:25. The resurrected Christ also appeared in the Book of Acts (Acts 1:1-11). From these passages you can gain several "proofs" of Christ’s resurrection. First, look at the dramatic change in the disciples. They went from scared and hiding in a room, to courageous and sharing the Gospel throughout the world. What else could explain this dramatic change other than the risen Christ appearing to them? Second, look at the life of the Apostle Paul. What changed him from being a persecutor of the church into an apostle for the church? It was when the risen Christ appeared to him on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:1-6). Third, another convincing "proof" is the empty tomb. If Christ were not raised, then where is His body? The disciples and others saw the tomb where He was buried. When they returned, His body was not there. Angels declared that He had been raised from the dead as He had promised (Matthew 28:5-7). Fourth, additional evidence of His resurrection is the many people He appeared to (Matthew 28:5,9,16-17; Mark 16:9; Luke 24:13-35; John 20:19,24,26-29; 21:1-14; Acts 1:6-8; 1 Corinthians 15:5-7). Another key truth to why the resurrection of Jesus must be true is the great amount of weight the Apostles gave to Jesus' resurrection. A key passage on Christ’s resurrection is 1 Corinthians 15. In this chapter, the Apostle Paul explains why it is crucial to understand and believe in Christ’s resurrection. The resurrection is important for the following reasons: (1) If Christ was not raised from the dead, believers will not be either (1 Corinthians 15:12-15). (2) If Christ was not raised from the dead, His sacrifice for sin was not sufficient (1 Corinthians 15:16-19). Jesus’ resurrection proved that His death was accepted by God as the atonement for our sins. If He had simply died and stayed dead, that would indicate His sacrifice was not sufficient. As a result, believers would not be forgiven for their sins, and they would still remain dead after they die (1 Corinthians 15:16-19) – there would be no such thing as eternal life (John 3:16). "But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep" (1 Corinthians 15:20 NAS). Christ has been raised from the dead – He is the first fruits of our resurrection. (3) All those who believe in Him will be raised to eternal life just as He was (1 Corinthians 15:20-23). 1 Corinthians 15 goes on to describe how Christ’s resurrection proves His victory over sin, and provides us the power to live victoriously over sin (1 Corinthians 15:24-34). (4) It describes the glorious nature of the resurrection body we will receive (1 Corinthians 15:35-49). (5) It proclaims that as a result of Christ’s resurrection, all who believe in Him have ultimate victory over death (1 Corinthians 15:50-58). What a glorious truth the resurrection of Christ is! "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord" (1 Corinthians 15:58). According to the Bible, the resurrection of Jesus Christ is most definitely true. The Bible records Christ's resurrection, records that it was eye-witnessed by over 400 people, and proceeds to build crucial Christian doctrine on the historical fact of Jesus' resurrection. | You saying "Scripture presents conclusive evidence that Jesus Christ was in fact resurrected from the dead. Christs resurrection is recorded in Matthew 28:1-20; Mark 16:1-20; Luke 24:1-53; and John 20:1-21:25. The resurrected Christ also appeared in the Book of Acts (Acts 1:1-11)" is not true because the same text you are referring to will be used to prove Jesus was not resurrected as follows; 1) According to Matthew 28:1-20; Mark 16:1-20; Luke 24:1-53; John 20:1-21:25 ; and Acts 1:1-11 along with 1 Corinthians 15, Jesus appeared only to his disciples and the women proving he was not resurrected because he did not appear to his killers of either the Jews or the Romans. Had he been resurrected, he should have been immortalized according to 1 Corinthians 15:52 "the dead will be raised imperishable"; therefore, Jesus should have appeared to his killers of the Jews because Jesus said in Matthew 15:24 "I was not sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel" as well in Mark 2:17 "I did not come to come to call the righteous but the sinners." 2) Jesus saying after he came out from the tomb in Luke 24:39 "For a spirit has no flesh and bones as you see me have" proves Jesus was not a spirit, so his body of was not a body of spirit, so it was not a spiritual body, so he was not resurrected because the resurrected will have a spiritual body according to 1 Corinthians 15:44 which says "It is sown a physical body and raised a spiritual body." 2) You saying "They went from scared and hiding in a room, to courageous and sharing the Gospel throughout the world" does not prove the resurrection because being changed because of a doctrine does not mean the doctrine is true. The answer to your question "What else could explain this dramatic change other than the risen Christ appearing to them?" is given by Jesus in Matthew 24:24 " False messiahs and false prophets will appear. They will work spectacular, miraculous signs and do wonderful things to deceive, if possible, even those whom God has chosen." 3) You saying "Angels declared that He had been raised from the dead as He had promised (Matthew 28:5-7)" does not prove Jesus was resurrected because Lazarus was dead then alive when raised by Jesus according to John 12:9, but still Lazarus was not resurrected because his body was not a body of spirit. You saying "Fourth, additional evidence of His resurrection is the many people He appeared to (Matthew 28:5,9,16-17; Mark 16:9; Luke 24:13-35; John 20:19,24,26-29; 21:1-14; Acts 1:6-8; 1 Corinthians 15:5-7) is wrong because Jesus appeared to the people not after his resurrection but after his suffering according to Acts 1:3 " "After his suffering, he showed himself to these men and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God." |

| What??? Amazing logic. It`s kind of reminds me of the guy who wanted to debate on the existence of hell. The Bible talks about it in all kinds of places and he still disputes it. Is that you Willie? Matthew 27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. Acts 2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. Acts 4:33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Romans 1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: Romans 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 1 Corinthians 15:12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 1 Corinthians 15:13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: Philippians 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 1 Peter 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

| Whenever the word 'resurrection' is used, it is replaced by the word 'after his rising'. For example, Matthew 27:53 in Young's Literal Translation is rendered as follows "and having come forth out of the tombs after his rising, they went into the holy city, and appeared to many." Yes, Jesus rose ,but was not resurrected because Jesus was not immortal after he rose as Jesus saying after he came out from the tomb in Luke 24:39 "For a spirit has no flesh and bones as you see me have" proves Jesus was not a spirit, so his body of was not a body of spirit, so it was not a spiritual body, so he was not resurrected because the resurrected will have a spiritual body according to 1 Corinthians 15:44 which says "It is sown a physical body and raised a spiritual body." |

| Rodger saying "Lord Jesus came resurrected in the flesh, do you know why? Because he wanted to" is wrong because Jesus said in Matthew 26:41 "the flesh is weak" and 1 Corinthians 15:50 says "flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God" and so was Jesus after he rose as Jesus said "for a spirit has no flesh and bones as you me have" in Luke 24:39 because "the life of all flesh is the blood" in Leviticus 17:14. 4JC, a person who is raised from the dead is not resurrected unless he becomes immortal as 1 Corinthians 15:52 says "the dead will be raised imperishable." For example, Lazarus rising from the dead according to John 12:9 does not still make Jesus resurrected. So Jesus rose but was not resurrected because he did not become immortal when he rose because Jesus saying after he came out from the tomb in Luke 24:39 "For a spirit has no flesh and bones as you see me have" proves Jesus was not a spirit, so his body of was not a body of spirit, so it was not a spiritual body, so he was not resurrected because the resurrected will have a spiritual body according to 1 Corinthians 15:44 which says "It is sown a physical body and raised a spiritual body." |

| Lord Jesus conquered the flesh he was sinless. The reason it is said the flesh is week, it is because it desires and once you conceive temptation it gives birth to sin. And when sin is matured it produces death. Resurrected mean's to bring back into existence from a nonexistence (unused state).Weather it is in the flesh or spirit. But we will be changed in a wink of an eye from corruptible bodies to incorruptible bodies this is the end product, so don't worry. |

| The quality of the resurrected person is becoming immortal according to 1 Crinthains 15:53 "the dead will be raised imperishable." However, Jesus was not immortal because Jesus did not appear to his killers the Jews because he was not resurrected because had Jesus been resurrected, Jesus should have appreared because Jesus said in Mark 2:17 "I did not come for the righteous but for the sinners" and in Matthew 15:24 "I was not sent but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." |
