Russell, yes some christians, including me at times, don't live as they should. your question, what do I think it means. Probably at birth or in the womb Christ spoke to us, made himself known to us in some way that we forget post birth. Or could it be through generational genenome. That one could be heresy so could the first but we should think about what the statement means. As an afterthought could we be lighted pre- conception? Probably not but..... Dave

Good question and observation Dave! "at birth or in the womb" "generational gene Nome" "pre- conception". I never thought that far about it. I just got stuck at "Lighted" period, because it flies in the face of standard teaching. This part of the verse (Lighted every man born into the world) is always passed over without comment. Why? Because it destroys the foundation of certain theologies that whole denominations are built upon. These denomination would consider it heresy, but who caries what they think it only matters what God thinks.
The word "lighted" has to do with revelation. God's Revelation is knowledge that cannot be perceived through the 5 physical senses because this revelation is in spirit. Every man receives this revelation according to the verse. Now what is the Revelation every man receives from God????

These verses say the opposite of each other. Why? Is one right and the other wrong? Is there corruption of the text or is there corruption of the definitions in our understanding of what these verses say?
