Jesus said, "Love your enemies." Muhammad destroyed many of his. That's history. Dave.

Well Roman Catholicism and Islam might comproise themselves for political correctness sake, but certaily not Orthodox Christianity!
I think both the Romans and Islamics venerate a female godess, mariology on one hand, and some female occultic figure in Islam I once read about.
I must look into that again.

Maybe they have grounds for unity!

Could some posts on this site be targeted by moslems for simply discussing their beliefs in public, and if so what will be our response if threatened by prosecution? Dave.

Yes they believe in the same God but the only problem is that they need to go through Christ to go to him.

God bless

'The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.' (2Cor. 11:31)

'Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:' (Eph. 1:3)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,' (1Pet.1:3)
-----------------------

The Apostle Paul and Peter too, all referr to God by the title 'The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.'

I particularly love this title for it encompasses all that God is to us as those who are 'in Christ Jesus'. It quite rightly narrows our conception of God, bringing all under the Headship of Christ for the Church which is His Body of which I form a part by God's grace. It also allows for no other 'god' or 'other company' outside of Christ Jesus, so that we will never be tempted to bring other religious groups under the same umbrella. The only way to 'the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ' is by Christ Himself, He shares this position with no other.

All praise to His Name
Chris

It's the same God, but the interpretations of who God is, are wrong.

I hate to sound like a broken record but the Catholic Church holds the truth.

She is where Chrisitianity originated.

She gave us the revelation of the Triune God.

She proclaims that Jesus is both God and man at the same time.

She teaches that God is Love and Mercy.

But Mohammed misinterpreted.

The Jews misinterpreted.

And now the Protestants who broke away from the True Christian Church,

pick and choose what they learned from Her then add their own erroneous interpretations.

The Catholic Church has the fullness of Truth and God is with Her until the end of time.

I forgive you. But you need to learn to forgive others, for this is Our Lords teaching. Less you torment yourself with hatred and have no peace.
