The world is changing before our eyes, and the description of end time conditions and events which not long ago seemed to require many changes in world affairs to come to pass, now do not seem so far off of accomplishment do they?

We know that events once set in motion can find their fulfilment very quickly, I think particularly of the Berlin wall and the speed with which that came down, and the breaking down of barriers between nations. The climactic conditions also which are affecting all parts of the world with the prospect of geological movements and change, freak weather, famine and disease.

Also now the way that the rise in terrorism and the economic situation globally is creating power blocks and a situation where the antichrist would be welcomed with open arms if peace and financial stability were part of the package offered.

With peoples minds being brought to vegetable level by the influence of the media, i.e.., television and film, where 'dumb and dumber' is the level of aspiration of many, and drink, drugs and mind numbing influences make the acquiescence of mankind to the influence of a strong leader such a great possibility, I feel that we are going to feel more and more as though we are watching the progression of mankind into the position where the time of the judgement of our God will have to come.

In Christ
Chris

To Rick: Your reference to US "intelligence agencies" is an oxy-moron. You shouldn't refer to reports which use the words 'US', 'Intelligence' and 'agencies' in a sentence which implies wisdom. <grin>

To Chris: There is a reason that most TV commercials are thirty seconds in length. Studies have shown that the average viewers attention span is only a half minute.

To Roger: Amen brother.

Now see, I told my cousin you can find what you need on the internet.
C'mon, richardP, where can I get my official tin-foil hat?
Price is no object.
(But then again, neither is reason.)
