| I have lots of true stories to tell of God's awesomeness but here is one of my favorites: I felt the call to start a deliverance ministry. I set up a conference to teach me and others deliverance (another awesome story to tell at another time) and demonic spirits began immediate bombardment. The most amazing thing is the amount of tornados thrown at me. My ministry's headquarters is set up on my property. Eventually all of it will belong to ministry, anyway in one week 5 tornados came, most went up and over. One tornado was so big that it destroyed several homes on its race to me. I saw the funnel coming and holding my two year old boy I knew better than to let go of faith and what is death for me anyway but victory? The funnel suddenly verred to the north, went past my house and I walked out onto the deck in absolute awe! I was standing in moonlight! Up above me was a perfect circle cut into the clouds. There was no way it was nature. It was huge and dark clouds everywhere all around. I stood with my family in the moonlight while we watched the funnel leave going north. The angel must have made a full circle with his sword. How awesome is that! God is no respector of persons. I am a nobody. He takes care of His own for His name's sake. Glory to His holy name and may His kingdom come.

| I had a similar experience with hurricanes while serving in the Navy in 1972. We left the port of Mombasa, East Africa and were off the coast of Kenya heading south toward the Cape of Good Hope. At the time the Suez canal hadn't been reopened from the '67 war and all shipping had to go 'round the Cape. Us too. The weather was rough, but not unduly so and we rounded the Cape in good shape. It's always rough there and that time was no different. The ship was pitching so badly that the captain wouldn't let anyone do any work. Only normal watches were on duty. We rounded the Cape and turned north, sailing into clear weather a few days later. When the Captain felt comfortable about it he held an assembly on our hanger deck. He told us that he watched the weather reports and our own radar and couldn't believe what he had seen. As we moved south a massive hurricane moved before us and another one followed close behind. If we had been caught in either one, we may have suffered severe damage and loss of life. Except for the grace of God I might not be sitting here typing out this tale. I didn't know why the Lord had asked me to spend extra time in prayer until the Captain's assembly. The Captain said that he was an atheist, and then thoughtfully admitted that he nearly had cause to believe in God because of what had happened. I wish he had indeed believed, for the poor man had no one to thank for our deliverance. I did.

| That was a very inspiring testimony richardp...I loved it! It reminded be of this scripture: 8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety. Psalms 4:7-8 (KJV) Our safety is really of the Lord. It is not because of who we are but 'whose' we are. He takes care of His own and has great love towards us beyond what we can even comprehend. A neat testimony of my daughter Shannon: We went for a walk and ended up by our pond. My daugter Shannon, being the adventurous kind, went to climbing trees. I was holding my little boy accompanied by my 3 year old daughter. Shannon climbed too high and became terrified and asked me to help her. I didn't know what to do because I had no place to lay the baby down and said, "just a minute" trying to figure out what to do. Shannon took off singing shakely, "our God is an awesome God He reigns from heaven above....". Meanwhile, while I'm still trying to formulate how to help her I watch her turn her back to me and start coming down the tree and so I just silently watched, hoping she wouldn't stop. After she reached the ground she turned around with a huge sigh of relief and said, "thanks for helping me" with this huge happy grin. When I told her I didn't do anything she acted stunned....,"but mom I felt your hands around my waste." That is when I knew an angel had helped her down the tree. I have felt the hands of angels during worship..... they often hold mine and I don't have to hold up my own arms even. I was so happy that I was about to burst with joy! God is so kind to his little ones. Blessings, Angel

Supposedly, the five tornadoes caused damage on the way to Angel of Fire's newly minted ministry and this must have affected many others. It is entirely plausible that the other people who witnessed the destruction of the funnels were, albeit mistakenly, under the impression that some demon had sent nature's fury their way because of their particular personal endeavors. We will then have to conclude that these misguided souls were suffering from some sort of self-centeredness problem or a solipsistic pathology for Angel of Fire's tale to be true. Red |

God always protects those who are His. He promises such. He promises that if you are truly His, that not a hair on your head would be harmed and He is more able to keep those who are His. Perhaps you need to discover this for yourself? The bible is an entire testimony of God's providing hand for those who truly seek Him and for those who don't there is hell to pay. Everytime people stray, disaster strikes, and so it is with every human being today. If you forsake God, you have forsaken Life itself. What do you think will happen if you do that? Common sense man....common sense...

| Dave, I'm interested in how you made the connection in your mind between being defended by God or persecuted for Him. My story has nothing to do with persecution for Jesus. When a person suffers persecution it is always for the 'glory' of God and done to 'further' the kingdom of heaven. God does not enjoy the suffering of His children but those who do suffer for His name sake receive a better resurrection because of their suffering. Demons destroying you and your ministry with tornados does not glorify God, okay? God isn't glorified by anyone being sick, sinning, or doing evil. When you love the Truth so much that you die for it, refusing to bow the knee to the devil.....that honors God. You honor God by obeying Him......especially unto death. The point of the story above is that God defends His own. When my dad was a young man there was a farmer who was really close to God. A hail storm came and destroyed everyone's crops. Everyone except for one field which sat in the middle of all the rest of the fields of wheat.....it was 'that' farmers that dearly loved the Lord. God has promises. He keeps His promises. To be in the hand of God you have to obey the Truth in your heart. One cannot practice and love that which they know is wrong and be upheld by the angels, because the angels only uphold the Word. You have to live upon the Word then the angels can uphold you in all you do. It is pure Science. God is no respector of persons..... Blessings, Angel
